CONDITIONS
My Terms and Conditions
are very simple and are here to protect both myself and my pupils
General:
You must hold a current valid licence (either provisional
or full) which must be produced on the first lesson. You must also be
able to read a number plate from a distance 20.5 metres (67 feet) using
your glasses if normally worn.
Driving lessons will be conducted on a one to one basis and there will
never be more than one pupil in the vehicle at any time.
I operate a non smoking environment. Pupils are expected to smoke outside
the school car.
Pupils are not to take lessons under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
I will stop the lesson if I suspect that the pupil is not fit to drive
and the lesson will be paid in full.
All lessons will be for a minimum of 1 hours duration.
The Driving School cannot be held liable for cancellations of lessons
due to mechanical breakdown or severe weather conditions.
Cancellation of lessons;
Pupils must give 48 hours notice if they need to cancel
a lesson. Otherwise FULL PAYMENT will be required for the cancellation.
Any cancellations must be by telephone or text message (but not e-mails)
to the school.
The Driving Test:
Test dates and times must be agreed to by the instructor.
I reserve the right to withhold the use of any driving school car for
the purpose of a driving test if, in our opinion, the pupil is not up
to the required standard.
On the day of the test a minimum 2 hour lesson must be booked to allow
for the test itself and a warm up period. During the warm up session
both the pupil and myself will check that all bulbs required for the
Show me tell questions are working correctly.
Payment and Prices:
Lessons must be paid for in cash either on the day or
by advanced block bookings.
The school reserves the right to increase the lesson price with 1 weeks
notice.
Alterations:
I reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions
and any changes will be published in this website.
